Welcome to my web site! I'm so glad you could stop by and visit. My name is Mrs. Jordan and I'm the Dean of Students and Technology Specialist at the Henry P. Clough Elementary School in Mendon, MA. I have been in the field of teaching for thirteen years. I started my career in grade five and then had the opportunity to further my education and I received my Masters in Education Specializing in Technology. I went on to receive an Elementary Administration Certificate and became the Dean of Students for the K-3 elementary levels. I remained in the administration realm until the birth of my son. I decided to go back to the classroom due to my new family and the demands at home. I loved being back in the classroom and taught in grade 3 for three years. In 2008, I had the opportunity to resume my role as a Dean of Students half time and teach technology as well. I LOVE both of these new roles!
I have had many additional positions in the Mendon - Upton School District including the following: MCAS Coordinator, MELA-O Trainer, School Council Member, and I am currently the Substitute Coordinator for our building.
Teaching is truly the most rewarding job. I adore the children and love to encourage them to become life long learners.
In addition to teaching and my passion for education,, I love web designing, photography, and creating photo enhancement on the computer. My joy however, is my 3 1/2 year old son.
My husband and I spend a great deal of time with him and it is amazing to watch him grow and learn. |
